This is a play on paper dolls, using the human body systems in place of clothes. The set does NOT include cut-out dolls (I cut a set for the photo), but instead has a sheet on each system with facts gleaned from physiological texts. There is also a sheet of “accessories”: gas mask, barbells, tennis shoes, sunglasses, etc.
Each set is enclosed in a handmade clam-shell box. All of the paper is handmade abaca, and text was screen-printed from my own layout designs. Each set is signed and numbered in the back of the box. It was an edition of eight; two sets remain.
