I’m currently working on five textiles, each 48″H x 36″W, for the exhibition Everything But Now. These works are about the demise of pollinators, the subsequent desperation of flowers, and human failure. In a nutshell, I need the light shining through the silk because light = life. More about that in the future. The bottom line is this series is demanding to be glowing and shrill.
My plan is to mount each textile on a LED light box, as I did for “See As Bees See.” This is costly at $4K, and a financial risk for me, so I’m asking for the help of my fans and supporters.
As of June 29th, I have received $1690 in sponsor contributions. Thank you!!
You can contribute ANY amount as a sponsor, but below are some incentives.

I’ll be creating fabric collages from silk trimmings of the artworks exhibited at “Everything But Now”. Each will be signed, one-of-a-kind, and framed without glass in a burnished silver color metal frame. You’ll choose from a grouping, available by September 1st, 2018. (or choose one from my current collection) Note: your receipt will show the purchase was made to “Moon Lily Mobiles Inc.”
THANK YOU for supporting my art. I’m grateful for everyone that supports my creative life in ALL forms.
I hope this is the only time I ever solicit sponsors for my art. If it repulses you to see this request (as much as it horrified me to ask), think of it as supporting the art of our times. Art is a reflection of its society, a record of the impact of current events, and an expression of our emotional life. This work is part of our cultural history.
I pledge to donate to Xerces Society:
10% for purchases of these artworks during “Everything But Now” July 13 – August 31st; 5% for purchases made after the exhibit closes.
